Description

A local preview makes it easier to judge whether a 2x upscale helps a short clip. VideoUpscaler.dev processes compatible MP4/H.264 video with an Anime4K CNN using WebGPU and WebCodecs on the device, then exports MP4 in compatible desktop Chromium. The current workflow is free, needs no product account or installation, and keeps source footage off video-processing servers. Browser, GPU, source resolution, clip duration, memory and encoding support affect compatibility, speed and stability.
