Description

NovelShaft helps fiction authors plan a story, write a manuscript, and use an AI agent in the same workspace. Templates provide a starting point for character profiles, worldbuilding, outlines, scenes, and foreshadowing. The agent works with project materials and can create or update supported documents. Visible progress shows it gathering context, saving results, and checking completion conditions, so authors can follow the work and review the outcome. The author chooses the creative direction and checks generated content. For example, develop the cast, arrange the next scenes, then ask the agent to draft with those notes in view. Keep the result with the planning material instead of repeatedly copying context between separate tools. Available on the web and iOS in English and Japanese. The free plan includes core writing tools and limited AI usage, with optional paid subscriptions for additional AI usage. Export manuscripts as text, Markdown, Word, PDF, or EPUB 3.
